Together, let's better understand endocrine disruptors and how to limit our exposure.

Endocrine Disruptors are everywhere in our daily lives:

πŸ™‹Endocrine disruptors are substances (or mixtures of substances) that alter the functioning of our endocrine system (which produces our hormones) and cause adverse effects on our health.
The harmful effects of endocrine disruptors can then be transmitted to our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren...

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘§ We are all exposed to endocrine disruptors. However, we are particularly sensitive to their effects during periods of hormonal changes in our lives. We talk about periods of vulnerability: during the first 1000 days of life (from the first days of pregnancy to the child's 3rd birthday), throughout childhood and during adolescence in particular. πŸ”Ž Endocrine disrupting substances are found in many objects of our daily life: industrial ready meals, household products, kitchen utensils, various plastics, and sometimes even in some cosmetics.

SVR is committed to:

βœ… To develop clean formulas, without identified endocrine disrupting substances that can have a harmful effect on our endocrine system;

πŸ§ͺ To go further, by doing recognized tests on our finished products, in their final packaging, to verify that they do not activate endocrine mechanisms;

♻️ To choose packaging that is lightened in plastic, recycled and recyclable materials.

πŸ”¬ Since 2017, we have been testing our products on estrogenic conducted on estrogenic, androgenic and thyroid endocrine mechanisms. These tests are carried out by an independent laboratory specializing in endocrine disruption.

πŸ‘ The goal is to test SVR skincare products that are aimed at our most vulnerable users, and to reformulate those that would not be validated by the tests .

πŸ₯Ό Science still needs to make progress on understanding endocrine disruptors. We strive to move forward modestly on these issues. But we are moving forward. Because we want to bring you clear and honest information, along with the most reassuring products possible, for everyone.
